not a lot he can do it was a deal he knew what he was doing and it was down to him to check out the bike prior to buying or swapping ..

if he makes any threats in any way record calls or log and save messages or emails ect ..

the police should not get invilved but you should call them the second he says or do,s anything ..see your not gona be alone when they come have you got a cammera to record andything said or done or record sound on your phone just in case it is needed at a later date .

how long was it you swapped ? was the bike running fine when you swapped ? could he have coused the damage himself ?

I sold a dtr and 2 weeks later the lad called saying the topend had gone.......there was lodas of life in it when i sold it and in that time he had raped the ass of the bike .
as said above contact the police explain what happend and say you are worried he maybe comeing round mob handed ..

the bike was sold friday night and he road away on it ileagaly and i even give him a choice when he came back the first time, does he want his money back and he went no ill keep it

yeh tell me about it, they aint getting my dt no way on this earth, but he went the money is your problem lol and i told him because im a nice guy that ill look at it and see if i can find the wiring fault (its chineese so prolly a new loom needed lol)

I'd say to him that it could have been tampered with after it left your hands. It was running when you sold it to him. What ever happens after that is his problem.

yeh i have told him that he bought it as it was and he went it doesnt run anymore even tho he rode it away from my house but he wont have it and he is coming mine at 7 tonight to get his money or my dt which he wont get lol

Nah. You get what you pay for at the end of the day. Personally what I'd do is take the rear wheel off you bike. Dismantle it and say if needs fixing. Just in case he tries something funny. But I would tell him no way josè

Every bike or car I have bought that's been a bit crap. I have never had the cheak to go back even for example the brakes failed on my car the next day lol. In a private sale it's the buyers responsibility to check the item and it's sold as seen however crap it seems for the buyer it's just the unwritten rule.

Was gonna suggest that u get the boys round,coz he don't sound like the sortta guy you can reason with,I mean where is his logic ??. So he bought the bike and it was all good yeah ?? Then he comes back saying it doesn't work anymore but did he bring the bike back with him ??

he hasnt come yet but he keep calling me and he has had the bike since friday and its only today that he wants his money back, im not being funny but he could of been over some field with it and destroyed it and realised that he cannot fix it so he wants his money back

To be honest I dont think sold as seen dosent exists in law. He may still be able to return the vehicle and get a full refund by law as there is a sale of goods act which may cover him
