I would make sure you had good earths especially the one at the coil make sure the mating surfaces are clean metal. And obviously make sure all the connectors are good with no broken wires. They can brake in the connectors and not be visible. make sure none of the wires are shirting out although when this happens the fuse normally pops.
took a look at the haynes and put the wires in the relay correctly as the connector is naff that stopped if from clicking and ive checked everything i have a decent spark all ive done is swapped frames! ill take a second under the stator cover tomorow thanks for your input!
it still wont start after checking for good earths and going over the electrics ive got a good spark could it be the battery? my dad took it away to charge it and i havent go it back yet but the battery wasnt connected before getting really miffed of i just want to hear my bike ): can anyone help?
A screwed battery is very common. It wont start the bike if it is. Try and get a voltage tester on it before you buy another. If it's freshly charged and it reads below 12 volts it's probaly junk.
thanks guys idk why but before the frame swap the battery wasnt connected and it ran? but the geeza who i bought it of had messed with the ignition and wiring to make it a field bike you wanted to see it when i bought it ¬¬ the dude was riding it with loose front shocks the swing arm bolt had no nut on it it was insanely dangerous!
