Ignition switch wiring?

Hi guys 

The geeza who owned the bike before me bodged the ignition

And now the electrics work when the key is in the on position 

But the lump will not start

If I put the key in the off position the lump will run but none of the electrics

By electrics I mean indicators meter lights and what not 

 

Does anyoneblow of I can repair this ignition  if a picture of the inside of the barrel will help just say!

It wasn't connected at first this is after I connected it with the corresponding colours that had been cut
Before it was just connected to the kill switch so only the lump would run withy the lights and no other electrics
