Had a fight with a tree the other day, the tree won lol. Wacked into it head on, went somersaulting through the air, landed about 15ft from the bike lmao. As it turns out, these little suzuki's are pretty well built, although it did look a bit of a state lol.
I was fine somehow, landed in some nice soft ferns lol. It's not too bad, forks weren't even damaged, just cost me a mudguard and new headlight, and a lever which I seem to replace more often than I fill up lol...on my third one since december lol
My mate clipped a tree hard before when he was flying along with metal braced hand guards, the brace bent and he got stuck to the bike and mullered his wrist. Rather a lever than a wrist.....
Sounds savage! Was considering hand guards but never been too keep on them honestly. Tbf everytime I go down the breakers he asks if I need another brake lever lol...normally do.
Was lucky to come off without any injury though I think, knew it was bad after I heard the bike hit the tree and for once my mate not even laughing lol.
