Ordering nearly everything I need......
Permalink

So brad has given me a list with pretty much everything I need now for my build and with AJ SUTTON (yamahascooterspares) it came to £326.85 (will be getting the wossner piston from forged pistons) and just wondering If anyone knows if theres somewhere else where I can deffo get it cheaper??

I'm happy to pay that but I always like to see if I can save a few squid first smile ??

if there is anywhere else cheaper they must be reliable, efficient, and dispatch everything quickly

let us know please

ta

I don't know where those nuts and bolts are from but it might be cheaper to just source those yourself from an engineering plant. BUT you aren't building it yourself so you'll just have to bite the bullet I'm afraid.

If you got the correct codes you can`t go wrong they work by numbers not the actual part name simple really ive never had an issue using this method

Yami always say you can`t go wrong with buying gen which is true cos it works but they defo make sure they get their moneys worth out out of that even exploit to a degree in my eyes just price up a chain slider snm bit of plastic don`t cost that much but no-one i know makes them so you are kinda shafted slinkys do the job from yambits mate ive got them on and do the job hence the rubber seal seal was kinda larger but it still did the job but for a complete set with bushes seals conical bearings compared to yami prices i cant grumble there on and do the job others may disagree but i am happy with mine aint got not issues if i did i would say im too straight laced mate to say otherwise must be an age thing lol

Aye no nothing else matey, it all adds up, just checked again, if you look there's a VAT fee added on the total and also most parts I'm needing two :)

Any other websites then mate I can go to, forgot all of the big ones, emailed a few yammy dealers so hopefully ill get a response from one of them but if you know of any other main companies (or anyone else) that would be sweet???

Or go to an engineering plant and give them the dimensions. I'm sure it will be cheaper than what AJ wants mate.

Cheers mate, yeah logics suggested getting bearings and seals from simply bearings, but like you mentioned with the engineering plant shizzle there gonna require dimensions.....

If anyone knows the dimensions of the swingarm bearings and that,+ fork seals let us know please, much appreciated ;)

However I might just stick to buying genuine, a lot less hassle by doing so and surely there be better quality.... Or will they be just as good??

Whats your opinions?? is it worth buying genuine over non with these parts needed

 Yeah you can defiantly see they over charge on a lot of parts like you say, cheeky fookers really but they know people are willing to pay those kinda prices for most of it....

I agree, if there to a near enough same quality or even better why not go elsewhere for cheaper.... personally im only worried that if I go cheaper something will fail or not fit and will be quite a bit of hassle for me to sort it once its back home (reason i had to give my bike to bradders cus i dont have the knowledge to strip it all down and rebuild it back up with fresh parts lol smile) aye cant be age mate, everyone likes to get a better deal :)
