So brad has given me a list with pretty much everything I need now for my build and with AJ SUTTON (yamahascooterspares) it came to £326.85 (will be getting the wossner piston from forged pistons) and just wondering If anyone knows if theres somewhere else where I can deffo get it cheaper??
I'm happy to pay that but I always like to see if I can save a few squid first ??
if there is anywhere else cheaper they must be reliable, efficient, and dispatch everything quickly
let us know please

I don't know where those nuts and bolts are from but it might be cheaper to just source those yourself from an engineering plant. BUT you aren't building it yourself so you'll just have to bite the bullet I'm afraid.
reef dude i only done the list on aj's so u know exactly what u needed to get coz its very clear on that site with exploded parts diagrams ect by all means find it cheaper else wer dude!! dont pay 300 odd quid for it all
emaild them a list of item numbers they then called me back and read it all out to me i payed over the phone then they called me when it was all in i went and collected
it was the dealer causing the headache not yamaha the DEALER he somehow couldnt get through to yamaha asked me to pick the stuff up then said it wasnt ready then it was ready then it wasnt all in all it wouldve been easier to go aj sutton got my stuff in the end but really wouldnt do it again if i had to id go to another dealer the guy wasnt helpful fobbed me off and wasted my time .sure others are different but on THIS occasion it wasnt.

aye I know that mate :) I made this thread as I was being lazy, didn't fancy totting it all up again through a different companies website so thought I'd ask first and see if anyone knew anywhere else which will do it any cheaper ;) ill deffo check out the other main sites though and yammy themselves now after seeing the comments I got back from this :)Â
And thanks for the input lads, will do toy
and no i havnt looked yet to see if I can get that oil seal cheaper logics, will take a look at that simply bearings in a sec
Yami always say you can`t go wrong with buying gen which is true cos it works but they defo make sure they get their moneys worth out out of that even exploit to a degree in my eyes just price up a chain slider snm bit of plastic don`t cost that much but no-one i know makes them so you are kinda shafted slinkys do the job from yambits mate ive got them on and do the job hence the rubber seal seal was kinda larger but it still did the job but for a complete set with bushes seals conical bearings compared to yami prices i cant grumble there on and do the job others may disagree but i am happy with mine aint got not issues if i did i would say im too straight laced mate to say otherwise must be an age thing lol

Aye no nothing else matey, it all adds up, just checked again, if you look there's a VAT fee added on the total and also most parts I'm needing two :)
Any other websites then mate I can go to, forgot all of the big ones, emailed a few yammy dealers so hopefully ill get a response from one of them but if you know of any other main companies (or anyone else) that would be sweet???
Yeah already looked at all of them in useful links earlier on and messaged the ones which may be able to help but thanks cal matey for the suggestion
Yeah Ralzy looks like I'm gonna have to get most of the parts from them, ill check out that simply bearings now, see if I can get any bearings cheaper ;)
Well send me the list of the most damageing stuff with part number like EG has stated already like that oil seal or send us the number on exploding diagram and we will take it from there reefy see what better we can source for ya matey
I`m all for helping someone get cheaper if & when possible aka hate the middle man
Cheers mate, yeah logics suggested getting bearings and seals from simply bearings, but like you mentioned with the engineering plant shizzle there gonna require dimensions.....
If anyone knows the dimensions of the swingarm bearings and that,+ fork seals let us know please, much appreciated ;)
However I might just stick to buying genuine, a lot less hassle by doing so and surely there be better quality.... Or will they be just as good??
Whats your opinions?? is it worth buying genuine over non with these parts needed
I will have alook for ya Reefy boi see what the best we can come up with i will have a look in the morning now but i will see what i can do for ya mate price wise ok best i can do matey ok i will even knock Norfes door aswell if needs be ok mate

Yeah you can defiantly see they over charge on a lot of parts like you say, cheeky fookers really but they know people are willing to pay those kinda prices for most of it....
I agree, if there to a near enough same quality or even better why not go elsewhere for cheaper.... personally im only worried that if I go cheaper something will fail or not fit and will be quite a bit of hassle for me to sort it once its back home (reason i had to give my bike to bradders cus i dont have the knowledge to strip it all down and rebuild it back up with fresh parts lol ) aye cant be age mate, everyone likes to get a better deal :)
