this may seem quite entertaining and trust me i know how you feel bout chink bikes,but im having an issue with the pulse its got spark fuel etc but it will not start even with fuel in the bore any ideas would be gangster cheers

I'm only messing stillbroke, yeah defiantly give it a shot in getting it to run properly mate, just dont do the same mistake as i did with my 1st bike and keep chucking money at it in hope that your get it running... "Well ive replaced that so if its not this its gotta be that" deffo dont bother mate if its gets anything like that lol
I would suggest some things but im not too clued up if im honest with ya in terms of engine faults, defiantly have a look i to what cal suggested though, maybe spark timing, theres my suggestion, or possible air leak, this screeching noise you mentioned you deffo need to look into that though, that would be my 1st port of call if i was you.

Has the bike got compression. Are any of the valves damaged? Are the rings in tact. Is it just a lack of power in the battery. Are any of the fuses gone.
i knew i was buying a lemon and i can always chuck it back on ebay but it just intrigues as to why it wont go all of the main electrical components are working the spark is strong all wires are correct i have a whole spare engine for this so like callum said il av to av a look at valves and piston etc got all the parts for it here there is one odd thing though and thats the shrieking noise it makes when you try to start it i will post a vid
its cool i feel the same way in general with chinese bikes,but its usually everthing else not the engine that packs up with these i really want to get it going ,this will be my 11th bike lool and usually i just get them and strip them but everything is here and i dont really wanna flog it if ive just got myself a work hack for £150 ive been given a new contract labouring for a charity and i dont wanna let them down as there good people so this is ideal .
no a engine is a engine but as this is a dtr based forum kinda out main like or love .
and as I see it we have given you the best advice you can get in regards to that bike but you fail to listen maybe like when some one said dont buy chinese you still went ahead and did . sorry to sound harsh but facts are facts we are trying to save you from yourself .
well it is a dt forum m8 and that noise its makeing if u listen carefuly enough the bikes trying to tell u that it wants to go to the nearest scrap yard and turned back into bean tins lol
no mdk i do listen i have had Chinese bikes before ,you have not given the best advice you've put more effort into mocking it than trying to lend a hand .this is a technical question posted in "other bikes" . it seems everyone is writing it off simply because it is Chinese ,i understand that they are **** in general and just wanted to know if anyone had heard this noise before .its a spare bike at the end of the day if i can get it to run Ive got a fully running bike for £150 which can be a spare for when the dt is out of action which btw will be on the road yet again next week .quite tired of the bs now just wanted someone with knowledge to be able to set me straight on the fault .
the noise in the video sounds like either the camshaft bearings or the shaft itself is ****ed and it sounds like either the inlet or exhaust valve isnt opening or one of them is slightly bent, which could explain the screeching as it moves in and out of the guide.
its hard to tell without actually being there, no video in the world could make it clear, youd need someone who knows 4 strokes in and out. i only know a tad.
sounds like it could also be the head gasket, like the engine wants to fire but compression is low
take the head off and have a look.
saying that, the starter motor itself doesnt sound healthy, sounds like it could be slipping, again causing that screeching noise?

+1 on valves, it sounds like it's warped and struggling
so to sum up and I think the guys will agree it needs work and money may need chucking at it then a mot and tax along with insurance . in my mind all wasted money .
ok so you spent £150 that seems cheap to you for a chinese bike to me it seem,s to much with the way I feel about them .
had A teenage mates son ask for my advice in getting his first bike/ped and even spent many hours searching and going to look at some good make peds and after all my advice his dad went and bought him a chinese scooter as it was 1 year old £750 ? they totaly did not listen to a word I said . it looked nice all clean and shiney . but with in a month they found they had made the wrong choise and things started to crack rattle or rust .
to sum up its now parked up in the garden fck.com even after he spent money on it . now stands him at close to £1000 and resale is worth maybe £200 if that £400 insurance ect ect all wasted . when he could have got a good peug-gillera-yam scoot that would have maybe still running or at least worth around the same he paid for it .
mate clean it sell it .. that the best advice anyone will give you .
Still the battery is 12v right ? get a car and jump start it thats what i did to my old one and then i got a new battery and then she ran pretty well

i blew my dt up ... but i fixed it.... Then i crashed it.... but i didnt fix it right and 2 scouser's come in the middle of the night and left me with a working bike

yea shes got oil cheers callum ,as for insurance etc il just add it to my existing insurance so its only another 10a a month tax is 16 and i get motsfor free so not an issue in my eyes she ran lovely
