got another in the post today. heres toms

major ring blow by, slightly worn bore, worn big end, gudion pin

left crank seal blown/leaking

 also for you tom pics of the piston kit box and the ring how it came out the box u can see its had somes presses against it heavy, may be the box was dropped in transit...ring has bent str8 but up to you if u want me to use it for the sake of a few quid its piece of mind getting a new set biggrin

How did you get them bearings out norfe?

blow torch and hammer im guessing, thats what id do anyway lol

 put the cases in the oven mate, alloy expands quicker than the steel and then tap the case with a mallet and the bearings fall out smile

slight delay in the build due to work load, new job is mental...graftin like a niggro in a cotton field lol

 

heres some more pics, cant find me other memory card with rest of pics on, last odd bit todo tonight then get it boxed up for collection tue....

How do you know which engine is which? You have a couple at once? Or just one at a time?

You charge any labour, or just for the parts to do it?

A bottom end rebuild is only needed when it sounds like a box of screws rattling and the rod where the piston goes has play going up and down?

 just do 1 at a time mate

yeah charge £75 for full strip, check.rebuild you just send the parts along with the engine

bottom end could need rebuilding for any number of reasons

smile
