in most cases reconnect it up to a lever and bleed and pump it out is the best way hydrolic power

or brute force put it in a vice or clamp get something to grasp the piston that will not damage it and twist and turn wilst pulling it out wards .

still looks usable if the sides was damaged diff story but the top damage is no real problem once you get it out smooth of the top be as good as new .

in future leave it all conected to break lines and use the breaks own power to pop out the piston .

some ppl use air also or even a grease gun lol look on yube for other methods

yeah those bleed nipples always get stuck and tend to snap off ? if it snaps I drill it out re thread the hole and seal it with a bolt .

you need to do this step by step and hopefully it will work like iv manged
you need to bleed it up put pliers or something so the piston doesn't move.

then gently push the pedal then with a small flat headed screw driver push the rubber seals back in then try and push the piston back in

if you cant un do the bleed nipple just leave the brake hose a little lose keep topping up the fluid res and pump away till you see no more air bubbles or you think its free of air then wilst holding the lever down tighten the hose bolt and see if that works . ?
