possible left hand seal failure?

got some black fluid, not sure if petrol or oil...seems more watery so prob petrol mix in my left hand side engine cover? upon inspection theres only a tiny bit there but want to get fixed..how easy to reapir this please? i dont need to split engine etc to get access do i?

 

Got the new  seals from my other engine that not rebuilt yet- the correct one too :p

 

any help appreciated ? thanks

Ok managed to get flywheel etc off.. definately seal gone... had black fluid behind stator and all round seal area.
Hot ky replacement seal.. do i just push this on, how far back does it sit?

make sure you greas the crank heavily and gently put it on use something blunt no sharps at all and youl be kosher

it was bloody tight, but managed to get sitting in there right. used a socket to knock in then and just tapped orund untill it sat just right :p

lool exactly what i did ,i was searching the tool box and found a spark plug socket its almost made for the job haha
