Premixing is a pain in the backside. Used to have Mini Motos, you need a mixing bottle, but you can't keep anything in them as they leak. :| Get to the petrol station with your 2T and mixing bottle, get how much you need, put it in after filling them put the cap on sit on the bike back and front brake on, rock it forward and back and side to side to mix the oil and fuel around. I found it easier to just do it to a jerry can work out how much oil you need for 5 litres and put it in the jerry can, shake it then into the bike. Was the easiest with Mini Motos and other two strokes that used pre-mix.

Can't remember any of the figures, it was over five years ago. But yeah, you mess up the mix even once, your piston is gone, well if you run it lean at least.

I run 40:1 at the min, which works out 125ml per 5 litres of fuel, and like you say its no problem going to the garage with a plastic fuel can and filling up with 5 litres exactly, then finding a small plastic tablet bottle or a nail varnish remover bottle, measure then mark 125ml on the bottle, then pour that into the plastic fuel tank, and keep in garage for topping up your bike tank, if off out on a decent run, I'll make sure that the bikes tank is full, that gets me around 100-110 miles, but take with me a small bottle with 125ml of 2t to chuck into the tank at a service station, if needs be, the bottle fits in any pocket or better still a rucksack. bear in mind a can of Coca-Cola is 330ml, so your 2t 125ml bottle is nearly a third of the size of a can of coke.
I look at it this way if bike runs out of 2t in the oil bottle, but you still have fuel in, it will carry on till you get a semi seize, and big problems, but with pre-mix, your bike runs out of 2t oil, you've also ran out of fuel, it may be a fair walk/bike push to a garage to get fuel, but that's no real hardship, compared to a top end rebuild.

I'm going to get a jerry can of unleaded and whack in 125ML then and put some oil in the bike, and then when I run out of petrol, my auto lube should have bled its self? It'd save me some time if it would. Will post here before I do it for advice. :D
