Cheers man!! The rider on the ktm sx 250 & the Gas gas 300 have been riding there for over 25 years! They've do motocross, trials & enduro! They met me in january & wanted me to join for a laugh to see if i would give up or the bike was **** as i found out yesterday lol! I was keeping up with them through 200+ ft drops for 1 quarter of a mile on a bumpy trials path of a length of a half of meter! If a fall or make one mistake it's instant death lol! **** myself, Then you do hill climbs that are verticle. Then motocross jumps & riding through waterfalls! It's fair to say that the DTR really does make a name for itself! I haven't had to change the fork seals once! Only thing i've changed is the piston & carb since i had it 2 years ago! Just proves that if you look after it well, It will last and out beat anything!
Thats mad mate. You took a dt there. You're off your head lol. They're far too under powered and heavy lol. Did you put small front and larger rear sprockets on. Or was it standard gearing?
15 Tooth on the front And %7on the back so itwas slower at op speeds but verry nippy lol! The DT keeps up well on the enduro loop! I actually beat the KTM 250 SX on it lmao! I really want to do motocross nxt year! You should give it a go calum lol! AHahaha Liam i think you should give the hawkstone hillbilles ago lol!
You beat a 250sx on your dt?!?!? Really!! 250sx's are animals certainly one of the scariest bikes I've rode! Haha Grant I'm hoping to start properly again this year mate : D you'll honestly love it!!! And oh I will!! I'd do it on a trike ; )

Hmm you ever rode full on mx bike? a 250 might be a bit much, maybe start of on a 125! and well you'll race the same class I do haha either amateur/rookie or ermm mx1 and 2 are like the reall fast guys!

A 250 two stroke is too much. Speak to any professional amd they'll reccomend a 125 2 stroke. For a few reasons.
1. A full blown 125 mx'er is quicker than you might expect.
2. They say its good to get use to the power delievery of a small two strokes. Then when you move into a bigger four stroke you'll have a better technique.
