I was going to swap mine for a KTM exc i could easily get 3 grand for mine but i'm keeping her forever instead. Getting my engine polish, gas flowed, blue printed and ported in the near future instead then i'll get her dyno'd and make love to her more i love my baby girl so much i was at DK motorcycles this morning and this bloke on an rs was like omfg that looks amazing i love it i was like sorry 1 sec i have a stiffy! Hahahahhaa

I was thinking of getting a YZ 250 for practicing on & a wr400 supermoto for the road. Booking module 2 on monday or tomorrow. What kind of difference would i expect from a yz250 to a DT125r... Would be good if someone's rode one. Ive had a RM250 before but not for so long! All answers welcome & thanks in advance :)
OH!!! i forgot to say, Some lad i know sold his DT125r in a bad state for £1700! What he hell.. I mean it was all running & in working order but looked like poo! Why so muchh
I'd say the 250 is around the same weight maybe a bit less i know the 125's are much lgihter but with the 250 lump even with ally frame swinger etc i'd say around the same weight
I'll need a 250 to keep up with everyone else when offroad nathy, 125 may be lighter but it won't be so funn :( Man fooookin ****ting me self for me mod 2 like! The KTM exc's are really good bikes! But you'll have more chance of them blowing up then the DTR :P Your DT is a beast though! 3 grand that's epic! i hope to get 1.6 for mine :) Nath what's the latest you and bikes!
Dude don't get a 250 get a 125 man trust! Guy who rides semi-pro in DK sold his kx 250 and got a kx 125 for racing! 125's are more than enough bro trust me! My RM 125 is lethal!!!!!!!!
I riden the gas gas exc 300 version! It's a animal!! I live right next to a offroad enduro track & thought if i have a bigger piston i'll be more safe ;) lol! i'll see what i can fdind i need a cheep offroader :)
What type of off roading you gonna be doing? Trust me a 250 is a serious amount of power! And unless you're seriously fit you'll struggle riding mx! Remember you're throwing that bike around and everything! Get a 125 get used to the gears! Yah sounds mad but if you're in the wrong gear on 2t crosser it just bogs out you'll constantly be going through the gears and thrashing the clutch!

So if i got a 125 i could be better off:)
mnnnn very nice an very lightweight too for throwing around amazes me offroad its something else you can pick up slightly older ones too quite cheap i paid a Grand for an 03 model
