i have a crack there on mine but mines from bending the frame lol if they wont replace its no biggie man get it weleded back togeather

Got same problem..its aluminum xo doesnt weld like normal

alloy can be welded u use need to find a place that can do i t

i haven't done anything to cause the crack i'm guessing the exhaust is just old i dunno :/
i might just buy a full system if i can't get a replacement

had this a couple of times lol

think its like toy said,slightly bent frame will stress and crack it...

and i reckon most dt's have been flipped at least once in there life lol

i put a 10 mm thick rubber washer behind the back bracket,

this ones lasted twice as long so far biggrin

Ive never flipped mine and the old guy before me probably never went over 4k revs lol. Mind you I've span out and ended up in a tree with it..

Mines never been been flipped by me or previous owner.
But the throw together DT I built the other day im not sure if it has by the previous owners.

My DEP has crack all over it, and its tired out. Bought an Athena silencer. 60 odd quid. Going on a DEP expanny.

i almost flipped mine before infront of a load of people coming out of college lolz

i blew my dt up ... but i fixed it.... Then i crashed it.... but i didnt fix it right and 2 scouser's come in the middle of the night and left me with a working bike

How come you're using allen keys all over your bike?

Probably over tightened the exhaust and put stress on it causing it to snap from expanding when hot etc etc. Can't be bothered going into technical scientific reasons.

The heat expansion? Nominal mate. Whats the melting point of steel/iron. Its a LOT hotter than what the dep runs at. So heat expansion is minimal at best if not negligable.

More likely due to the previous statements. Stress due to broken frame or vibrations.
