ok here is my problem, bought some forks from ebay, advert clearly says no pitting, had the forks stored untill need them and turns out the are pitted badly (never looked at them tbh) this was about 40 days ago, today the garage says the cant sevice them as they are pitted.... the sellers refund policy is subject to notification before 7 days of purchse. i have allreasy modified yokes (and painted) so cant send them back in a purchased conditon, just tried for a part refund.... what ya think my chances are?
iv just had to deal with a refund for a steering stem came throw bent i said there bent exactly like mine and mine was bent from the quad being rolled he said they wear send straght ended up sending a rudeish email saying i want your adress for a full refund as the postage back refunded as they came throw bent and ill bring it to ebay got a full refund and he said keep the bent stem lol
You can still claim pal, as long as you have proof they said they wernt pitted... At the end of the day there will be a cut off point but you have to try knowing you where sold something wrongly described go for it!!!
You never got round to checking them due to ill health yadda yadda.
On the other hand you try claiming money back from B&Q, these bastards owe me £530 for stuff they never delivered 3 weeks on and I'm still slashing all over the toilet seat in rage
he is a trader, and also i have 60 days as a right to a full refund as writted in the "purchase of goods act" and the "distance selling regulations" just hope he agrees
can the guys with usd forks measure the width of the fork legs where they meet the top and bottom yokes, gotta buy some more.. and at the moment can only buy 1991-1995 yz forks knowing they fit
When i bought my USD's i knew nothing about how to fit them. Most important thing i was told is to make sure everything you buy is from that year and model bike.

You have 45 days from purchase date to get a claim in through the resolution centre..
get the claim in now, 4 - 7 days later you can escalate the claim to eBay/PayPal who 99% of the time refund the money back.
if its been over 45 days then your probably out of luck
