Alot of work have gone into the styling of these type of lids a motorcross helmet may look good and be great on the dirt but for road use they aren`t as good as duel sports helmets as mx helmets catch the wind too much for starters with duel sports you get the best of both worlds. which they are just as good on the dirt as an mx lid and are good at high speeds unlike the mx lid
Not that you wanna Toy the AFX you can still use goggles with that lid not sure if you can on the fly & the THH though. Out of them 3 lids i think the AFX is better for a low entry DS lid

get this my mate just bought a fLY helmet and i liked it so thought ill get one been looking into it and theres a identical helmet under a difrent name AFX.
turns out they both are made in the same factory and the same price only diffrence is people know FLY and the AFX has more coulors.
well this is the kicker they both buy the shells from THH and this hahaha
the FLY is £120
the AFX is £107
the THH is and this is awesome hahaha £58 from ghost bikes hahaha my mates so pissed im gunna buy one for half the price for the same helmet and this hahahah his is the fake version lmao.
My new lid was £120 50% reduced to £60 hahah was laughing to the bank with that bargain. Didn't include goggles though, tight bastards. eBay jobbed it (thanks Nath!) And got a nice red matching the colours -ish of the helmet for £20 so all in all £80 on a lid worth £120 :P
looks nice that, gunna end up spending £200 squids on my next lid haha, got cover on my insurance tho so i don't mind paying a premiuim for it as it will get wrote off in a week
Want that with a nice blick visor, should get it August time
so whats (Advanced FULL CARBON shell.) mean is it actualy carbon firber made or just coverd ? or even just like most carbon look a like ? its the word SHELL that I dont get
haha the lid came today and i like it alot wish it had a d ring hate the buckle **** but i can live with that.
was looking at it thinking wait we went into a bike shop last week with a pal and i was looking at a similar helmet almost bought it for £90
my mate one of them u have to spend 200 plus said no i thought sod it ill wait and order online turns out the lid i wanted is another identical one. so i got one but at a even cheaper price hahaha
Toy I been looking at get one of these too but after looking into the afx fx 39s ive seen a few people really complaining about how the chin strap causes pain on the neck, you rode out with it on yet dude or tried it on, had the same problem with it??
ok mate ta for getting back to me, yeah they dont look too bad tbh, oh yeah, does it have any branding on the outside of the helmet, I hope not, cant see the rear of the helmet on ghostbikes?? probably get one in the future tho and in the mean times keep spending on the dt and slowly save up for a Honda hornet 600 me thinks
