I was man but I had no ends of problems with the Sumo. I couldn't afford the time off work to take it off the road and fix it :( Sadly it had to go, was getting fed up of not being able to give it a good hoon now and then without leaking water and ****. I'll get another one and trick that out again :D keep this as my daily ride
don't have much luck do you . sellers like that should all be named an shamed theres way to much of it goes on iv been done on my r6 too he must have known 2nd gear was on its way out .. i dont know how they can do it to people an still feel good about themselves.
both my dtr buyers have kept in contact about how well there bikes are going, an how happy they are with them. thats how a good sale should go,,
i blew my dt up ... but i fixed it.... Then i crashed it.... but i didnt fix it right and 2 scouser's come in the middle of the night and left me with a working bike
the newer foxeye models are great but if you look around the best is the import model like this one realy awsome bikes and can easy hit 90mph that said my above nsr could easy do 80mph but was light and wobbly at that . must say thou the tzr 125 4dl is the best I have owned will always miss that bike
Mmnmmmmm jc20 nsr, I owned one for a few months tried to fix her up for a bit took her out for a few test laps man them things have a very aggressive power band... Looking to sell my dtr for a decent one.
So little update on the NSR situation. Basically it was the kill switch that was dodgy and had a lose connection inside. So I just ordered another one along with a new coil and a new headlight (Their not cheap, I miss the DT prices). I started fixing up the fairings now that the bike is running right again. Gonna get to it with the fibreglass soon but for now Zip Ties are doing a grand job. Suffered some damage in the back of the van as a result of a tie coming loose and some dick infront hitting his brakes. I've now got a lovely dent in the tank and some of the rear plastic had snapped off..
Before I fixed the fairing I just had the headlight fairing on:
This is the damage from falling over in the van. The bloody tank was perfect aligned with the wheelarch covering in the back:
Full Arrow System ;)
The fairing repairs:
Fairings all back on, minus one bottom side being bolted on because the plastic has actually snapped clean off. Was like it before I got it appaz. Gonna knock up a fibreglass replacement and then bond it to the bottom of the right hand side by the expanny:
Cheeky shot of the mileage, 14504 ;)
Plans are to swap out the front end for an Aprilia USD one. Recondition and paint the calipers red, strip all the stickers off and put on the custom Rising Sun stickers and vinyl I have.
On another note though. I ****ING MISS THIS THING :(
