ok has a dep back box but the down pipe is a bigone and tbh that's one of the problems as there pants

and from your photos it has the oil line running to the manifold so check the bottle on the front right see if there's any oil init just incase as to much oil will make it puff like a gooden and bog out/ make it foul the plug after a few rids

and you have no powervalve servo so id say it might be pinned shut. try opening it and go for a ride will make bottom end boggie but top end should be alot better

Might just not be setup right. Wrong oils or no oil can cause problems. As well as too much gearbox oil.

Had my DEP since December and no rust so far. But agree about dropping it. Once this pipe looks ratty I'll get a arrow full system me thinks.

Are you sure you turned the PV the right way mate as i thought it only caused problems with powervalve hitting piston when the valve close's off not pinned open?

Theres a centre pock mark on the end of the powervalve, if you line this up with the two pulley casing bolt holes, your powervalve should be fully open.
The centre pock mark should be at top left of the diamond shaped end btw.

sounds like big one front pipe performance you got there  if your runnin it without a powervalve servo close it off slightly so you can see about 2mm of the powervalve up the exhaust port ,, kill the power loss in the later gears for you

and the clutch isnt holding an trying to drive the front sprocket still by the sound of it  . try new tranny oil first but new clutch plates will probably sort it altogether

What does the bike rev out at? Could be the reed switch on back of clocks... Bought my dt with full dep and was told it was fully derestricted (snorkel removed, full dep and jetted up) only to find she would only pull to 50ish then it was hard work to get anymore put of her!!

Quick check, take off light shroud and light see if there is 2 wires going into the rpm clock just pull them out and there should be a Reed switch on the end of them (looks like a plug fuse) tape it up and tuck it to the side!
Basically I think the reed switch retards the powervalve @ certain rpm.

I can't view your video to give any advice on other problems (am on me iPhone)
P.s answer you pm please pal waiting to organise courier

Cheers
Ken

plates -reeds - zaust could all be fine could all be to down to poor settings by the last owner . just og over the bike checking everything is sett ok things like cables chain tensions - air mix screw settings - not sure if it has a reed switch ? check and tighten if needed all seals and bolts inc engine mounts lose engine mounts can cause vibration and make you think bearings are fcked . think you removed the pics in other post ? what end can has it got fitted ? . is there any boost bottles fitted front or back of carb ? . all the usual service type things .

also when ever you buy a bike dont take the sellers word on anything .. change the oil instantly also new plug and clean or replace filter .

Possible main shaft bearing or gearbox bearings are gone as it doesn`t sound healthy at all.
Gonna require engine strip & rebuild

I would be pissed but this do.s show the need to test ride and or if not possible ask for a video with date showing it running and how it sounds .

and would be thinking of asking for some money back as he did say well here are his own wrods on the abay listing . high lighted the key points that should have said more like there is some engine noise and maybe ready for a rebuild .
