yeagh i took this side off as noise seemed to be this side thought itd worked loose in there but all tight then when had proper listen it was clutch side, but mrs baulked at idea of me using the fruit bowl to drain oil into and not having any other clean bowls had to sulk lol, does the video work, new to this photobucket malarchy!

securing nut that be the 19mm behind the clutch itself? ive stripped clutch outve spare enginge, put a 3/8th adapter in makita screw gun and whopped the screws and nuts off, saves firing up compressor!

You do know that's they flywheel ey Jace? The clutch being on the other side, with you saying the rev counters gone also I'd be in there looking at the securing nut on the clutch isn't loose mate.

An old 4litre milk bottle with a 4" square cut out the side usually does me for something to drain oil into

Yeah mate Norfe's always busy. Defo wants a strip down though so you can pin point the problem, sounds like the gearbox/clutch though for sure.

If you've got the tools/time you could do it yourself, there's a good youtube video showing you how to dismantle the engine and split the cases.
