Need help finding a larger 520 front sprocket.

So yeah, currently running a 13/50 w/520 conversion at the moment, runs out of gearing before power imo and screams too much on carraigeways. Been looking round B&Cexpress and ebay for the past half hour but can't find a 15 tooth front sprocket, B&C list a 14 tooth but no longer sell it.

Code on renthal sprocket is 257-520-13

Anyone know something i can use?

For my RE, would have specified if it was for another bike :P

Not really answering my question lol, 13/50 was great for acceleration (topped approx 85mph) but just need to go up a couple of teeth on the front sprocket as it's ragging the engine too much.

I'll see if i can message that ebay guy but tbh ebay is horrible when it comes to messaging people lol

My post was helpful seany. Tells you what other bikes use thr same sprockets. Also you could just have one made. But 85 is pretty awesome! For a 125 with good acceleration!

Cheers for t h e edit. N ever was good at making links lol.
Right 15t front sprocket fitted. Was a pain in backside. Had to grind away most of the plastic on chain guide for it to sit correctly and give some clearance. All done now, will let you know what difference it makes in morning.

Right this mod makes big difference to how bike rides..Find now that I'm not always in upper revs now and the ratio is lot better designed for road now. Think it would struggle in 6th if I had 16t front. Gonna have to grind some more from sprocket guide later today as I can sometimes hear it running on it.

verdict is less acceleration but more top end, motor isnt always screaming lthough thats how a 2 stroke should be ridden!

the dt isnt really that slow for accelaration regardless and this sprocket doesnt make it much slower but you can tell the difference :p still taking it easy on engine as not long rebuilt- but shouldnt be long before i can properly open it up : -still good to give her a little tester every now and again-blow the cobwebs off hahaha
