Hi i was looking at getting some dtr forks for converting my dtx and i have found some but the bloke doesn't know what year they are... will they fit considering they could be any year?

Yeah i think they ought to. The only difference is the yokes. But that only concerns the mounting points on them.

i haven't bought them yet, £27 and he says (and i qoute) 'diameter of the forks at the yoke end is 41mm. overall length was around 980mm.'

Sound about right?

Have you not got any forks to compare that to...? Just numbers to me I'm running USD's

Probs too late but incase its not 41mm stanchions are the norm from 88 onwards dont know bout pre 88 though
