Hello.

Basically I was going to leave my bike in enduro trim but I have bloody changed my mind again.

So I have had my swingarm powdercoated. Got new discs and pads and chain and sprockets.

So I dont really want to try and sell all of that on then buy another front end and back end.

So im thinking of getting 17" rims laced to my stock hubs.

What i need to find out is how wide i can go on the rims front and back??

Also can anyone recommend some cheaper rims for the job??

Thanks

Trouble is i got the swingarm powdercoated and baught discs pads lines c&s and fork springs allready.

So if i buy new wheels with different hubs i would need new discs and maybe caliper and pads and a new sprocket. And it may need more powdercoating so more £££

So the best option for me is new rims laced to my hubs, but I need to work out how wide i can go on the rims.

DTX forks, DTX wheels, and DTX front caliper OR get a bracket made up for another one. Which ever is cheaper.

No need to change the swingarm on DTX wheel.

Failing that, can get a TDR rolling gear. Which ever you find first. :)

Nope. At the most with the DTX wheels you'll need a replacement disc brake, about £70 and maybe new tread. SM'ing a DTR isn't cheap which ever way you look at it.

Cost me over £250 to SM mine and that bill is still going up... Sprockets from the DTR will fit straight over to the DTX. Only the rear disc is different.

a dtx rear wheel is the same hub as the 18 inch offroad wheel

so the rear disk rear sproket chain swingarm caliper on the rear is all the same no need to change a thing.
