Best cdi for my setup?

Hey people

just wondering if there is a specific cdi out there that's better then the rest? I'm currently running a 3mb head, 3mb00 barrel (that's on it's second last bore), full dep, carbon reeds and powervalve pined - I've had it to 75-80mph I would just like to know if there is anything else I can do to her because that's the kinda guy I am.

i have no idea on what's on there now but ill have a look this weekend would just like to know what I'm looking for!!

cheers mofo's

ken

They're all the same mate. Just the early three wire power valves have no restrictions.

Best thing you can do is check out scrinmustangs webpage. Derestrict the cdi and thats full power. After that you want the ignitech programmable powervalve.

But to be fair. Unless you are serious into two stroke tuning you're not going to see much gains without serious money and work.

What I would reccomend is derestrict the bike fully. I take it you're running good compression. Aftermarket pipe or standard gutted. Up jetted to 240 main jet. Should get to 70mph and then creap up to about 80+. To be fair it sounds pretty good to be fair.

Yes I get good compression a little kickback full dep and its up jetted with carbon reeds pulls up to 60 quick then 70 and trickles to 80 I have had it off the clock..

Cool well I think I have everything covered

Cheers

Only other thing is to slightly change the sprockets on it. For more or less top end.

Yeh I tried that before but it makes 6th gear even more useless....
Doesn't matter I'm looking into selling her and getting an rs125 or a mito for change of style before I go direct access

I nearly went for an rs with a 170 barrel all tuned up but I got the dt for all weather riding but I need something to learn the roads on not blast about offroad and ride like a knob on-!!
I can't lean into corners with these ac10's there ****ing lethal twitching makes knocks my confidence although people still say I get the bike on a decent angle.

Gonna watch your vid now

Cheers
Ken

I don't ride my dt like I would a road bike!
I want a change in riding style that's how I will progress and gain more confidence in corners this thing twitches all over

Ac10's are aggressive enduro tyres that perform better offroad
Pal of mine is selling a 2006 rs with 7k miles on for £1k so I'm having it

You can't say that as you don't know how many miles I do and my riding style
I tend to disregard them comments
