Saw this on another forum, but figured as pretty much all of us use the roads I'd share it here.

was always tought never pay any attention to anyone flashing you to go they are only focused on you and not what could hit you ...

many at times some one has flashed me to pull out and then you look the other way and see if you did you would be dead .

but good point and post this is becomeing the done thing now crash for cash ect also read a local story some guy planned this a bus driver he filled bus with mates and had a bump they all claimed with another mates insurance company http://www.thestar.co.uk/news/local/sheffield-fake-bus-crash-injury-claims-1-5962244

the insurance companys will clamp down on things like this and it will be drivers and riders that feel  it most in the pocket

They tell you in your driving lessons to ignore people flashing there lights as its not a recognised signal...
These ****ers are driving up people's insurance you do know that?
Claiming whiplash but to be fair my girlfriends car was written off due to someone ploughing into the back at a junction!!

She was insured with the post office they are absolutely spot on however there was another company involved calling all the time advising her to claim whiplash, she is fine nothing wrong with her she is back at work now no problems at all.

What they said
"Your best to claim now as problems might arise later on"
"It's an easy procedure"
"You will earn thousands"

She has her value of car and scrap value already banked and spent still this company rings up-I'm going to tell them where to go soonish

If these company's didn't make it so easy people making frodulant claims there would be fewer claims made

I was stationary in a sprinter van 3 years ago that was hit by a ford transit traveling at 45-50. I had whiplash, brushing to my shoulder. My phone was on the passengers seat, it slid off and hit the centre console (cracked the screen and damaged some clips keeping the back fixed too the front) The van drivers insurance company made contact with me the following day, I assume from information provided by the transit driver. They collected my phone via courier the next day, and sent me a transferd me 300 quid to replace it. They offerd me free private medical care, Inidate cash (500) to cover any loss of earnings. I visited my doctor who confirmed whiplash and brushing and he wrote a small report of my condition for the insurance company, they phoned me every week to check my progress and wouldn't pay out until I was 100%. About 5 weeks later. I was back to normal duties at work, they transferd me 1800 pounds to close the case. Not once did they request any medical proof. But sumhow I had 4/5 company's contacting me daily saying I could get 4000k and where rude and persistent. Really annoying. I told them I had revived a settlement and they kept calling telling me to send the money back and ask for more. Zzz

so basically they are infact themselves driving insurance premiums up and making it too easy for fraudulent claims'
These company's should not be allowed to be contacted by insurance company's unless the person in accident allows it-our phone number is ex directory yet they still ring

It's confusing because the revenue from selling information is lower than the money lost through inflated claims via the companies they sell the information too. If u are seriously injured in a accident, use a local solicited that is experienced in the field.

As said only pull out when they are clearly stopping, quite tricky though will try and bear it in mind for the future.

Have to be utter retards to try in on a bike mind.
