Just wondered, if anyone can help me out finding a starter motor for DT125RE 2004? i went down to yamaha shop and they want £320 for a starter!! which is very very steep lol! any help will be appreciated.

 

P.S: IF there is a kickstart conversion available any help will be appreciated with that also! :)

Yeah there is mate. Have tried reading under kickstarts? Or searching! I wrote up a complete tutorial about it. Everything you'll meed is in there.

Also the starter motor is the same for a lot of other yammys. Like the tdr and tzr. Could pick a used one. Or have yours refurbed.
