Hello.

I have purchased a speedo drive from the bay of e.

As my bike is not ready to test it out i put a screwdriver in to twist it to check the cable spins but it doesnt.

So i took the cable off and checked it spins and it does.

I then put a screwdriver in my dtr speedo drive and when that spins the cable spins.

So what i want to know if i havnt bored you all to death yet... is my dtx speedo drive fubard or does it work in a different way to the dtr speedo drive??

the dtx speedo is different to the dtr speedo as when I fitted the dtx wheels to my dtr my speedo reading was out when I used the dtr speedo drive

What im asking is... does the dtx speedo drive work differently to the dtr drive or do they work in the same way but obviously configured for different size wheels ??

I finally have a day off of work tomorrow so ill pop down to my local yammy dealer.
