oioi dtr heeds.. a havnt been on here for a while, but this time last year a was rebuilding my dt and coz a loved it, im going to do it again this winter.. more extreme tho. :)
iv been looking through the site again over the last few days and there something missing!!
a stats page for everyones dt.. like a top trumps sort of style.. every dt has its own thread. with the exact model name for the title starting with the year.. get someone in admin to sort this 1 folder by title instead of date..
inside each folder everyone can list everything thats on there bike. top speed, (nee bull****in people lets find out what the proper limit for them is) carb, bore, clocks wheels brakes etc..
no comments on any of the pages tho. just a clean page that only the user can update.. with 1 up to date picture of your bike as it stands.
the reason i think we should have something like is to, check who has the exact same model. check what mods hav been done to that model.. and basically just a quick way to see was everyone riding which is what this sites all about :)
this was a light bulb thing bout 20mins ago so the concept is still very rough ha
deffo needs refining. maybe a form for example thats you can just fill out, also in the future you could add a rating system or something. find out the peoples dt of the month etc haha
mine only done 78 flat standard carb full dep reed switch removed reed manifold modded 17t front and 57t rear 92 plate. engine whent lite if u know what i mean at 11.500rpm that was on the bypass to simonside and av been on loads of other dts over the years and not 1 of them have done the clock
I was about to suggest that if you want Seiki to implement something then give us some idea of how it can be done. As you're probably aware Seiki is occupied with a lot of things and as a shame as it is, doesn't have much time on his hands.
To be fair there is no reason why we can't just post that. Maybe in the hall of fame. Underneath add specs onto it. I mean our bikes are already there.
