Fitting new top bearing

Just bought a new top bearing and looking to fit it, dont really know what im doing so i undone the big nut ontop and tried to take the top yoke bit off but i noticed it was catching on the plastic that surrounds the ignition when i tried to pull it off.

looks like i need to take the tank off to take the plastic 'cover' surrounding the ignition off?

cheers

my bike was a stolen recovered and basically pulls off, I am pritty sure it pulls off, give it a good look with a torch then try and pull it away. you should be able to see where it is connected if it is.

It takes two seconds to take the tank off.

I've done it lots of times but can't remember what you need to take off. Shouldn't be hard though.
