Hey all

Im not happy with the tyre choices available in a 140

Has anyone fitted a bigger or smaller tyre to a dtr with dtx wheels??

Or if anyone has dtx wheels on a dtr can you please check the clearance between the edge of the tyre and the chain please??

i have got another dt with rs 125 wheel with a 150 on it and it has plenty of clerance

My DT runs a 150 and I intend on running a 160 on it in the future.

got a 150 on mine and had a 160 sqeeezed onto the 140 rim once that burned a hole in the chin guard tbh next time im geting a 140 runing a over sized tyre makes it handle diffrent and tbh makes it handle worse

That's stupid Cal......

You shouldn't need anything over a 130, 140 max on a DT, anything over that and it's just pure overkill and will KILL the handling.

It's got rs rims mate. They already have 150 as standard. Handling on my rs is mint. Handling on my dt is mint.

Yeah true that, totally forgot you've got the RS wheels, aye i'd defo stick with the 150 on your RS rear wheel. But for people running excels i would stick to what i stated above ^ aww
