Take the end cap off by removing the rivets, remove the old wadding, replace with new wadding and pack in neatly and tightly, re-attach end cap with new rivets, done.
Hi ppl has anyone done a repack on the dep can ? mines getting louder and is at least 3 yrs old , any pics or info on how to get this done would be appreciated.. Doo

Take an 8mm drill bit to the middle of the rivits. Drill them out. And the sheathing comes out. Then repack the wadding. New rivits back on. Bish bash bosh. Easy job.

gonna av a go today found some 5mm steel rivets , must av come from work in my pocket ! if anyones interested could do a few pics of the job ! but gonna try the loft insulation method ....
cleaned up end can rebuilt wiv the loft insulation as suggested and blow me runnin great better than ever , revin cleaner tickin over sweet and barely needs choke ! also not smoking on start up ... Am well pleased wiv results 4 less than a hours work ..
cleaned the tube wiv a rivet stem by poking out dirt on all the holes then soaked in solvent came up pretty good
