Is that original disc guard mate?

If it is i'd suggesg keeping it. From what i've heard theh're rare and retro thumbs up from me if it is. I'm a fan if the old school.

not sure the dtr had such a disc cover but I along with many sometimes also have used the ones from KMX125 the same as that being KMX you are limited in colors white or green.

looks good was gona get one again my self .

Spot on its a kmx one I got off ebay I prefer it as it takes the skinny look away from the forks it also came with another straight plastic fork cover for the the other side I also fitted some chunky pro grip gaitors to give chunkier look.smile

I think some modes did mdk. Which is why i said they're rare to find.

Stress on the THINK.

 dont think so call not sure I seen any year or model with one on as standard could be wrong unless they did in other countrys .

thanks mdk and your spot on none of the dt 125 or 200 came with this kind of disc cover the only 1 that a know out of the dt range that did was the dt230 lanza which is rare and i have tried to find the part number for it but no luck

even looking at original pics and videos-none have that type of cover-seems like aftermarket fitment or from different bike. even the older bigger dakar bikes from yamaha never had those type
