Under frame jacks/paddock stands. What you using?

Hi guys.

I'm looking at getting a paddock stand/under frame jack. The 'H' style ones can be picked up on ebay for around £30. Does anyone know the measurement from the floor to lowest point of the frame? What do you guys use?

Cheers, Ryan.

They fit under a DT if thats what you mean? I use them for motocross and for working on my DT's.

Have you got a 'H' frame one or one with a solid plate that the bike rests on? I like the look of the 'H' style, as the vent pipes that run out of the bottom of the bike won't get crushed.

May be laughable but my uncle won't leave any of his car's jacked up. He has 2 2.5 ton jack's and only uses them to raise his car's then put's his chock's of wood under to hold it. He is way old school and does everything proper. He said " these jack's can fail, that wood won't"
