not sure if im alone here but my DTr has 2 steering locks, one on the ignition and one welded to the frame... I have an oxford lock for rear wheel, and an abus u lock for attaching it to a pole... talking of which my abus is siezed wd40 hasnt released it from the locked position... email to abus I think... datatagging and a datatol alarm if in doubt of where you park (my other bike has these)
I have fixed a steering lock once before on a honda, by drilling the large rivet on the barrel of the key lock, then buying a new one from honda, it took hrs of careful drilling and dremmel work, to do a clean job. believe me!!!! but im a perfectionist. all mechanical ??? involve time planning and the right tools.
dont rush it mate... if you knacker it its not easly fixed!!!

Some say Live to ride, I say ride to live, and depending how you ride, decides how long u live lol
paint less and useless item and in some cases chavs break the stearing lock causeing damage then notice that its chained up and leave with out stealing the bike .
they sometimes do this with a view that if you can not ride it away it may be left over night .
