Iv almost finished rebuildimg a cr80. All new barings throughout. Powdercoated frame ect. Jus want some ideas on what its worth. Had a look about on ebay and some are over £1000! Ill get some pics up of how it stands atm
Its a big wheel and i think its 2000-2001 bought it from eg logiks off here a while ago now. Unfortunatly it had no frame or engine numbers when i bought it : /
Havnt painted the engine but its had a good check over and all seems well. runs sweet as a nut fired up 2nd kick after it had been partly dismantled! Couldnt belive it! Thts honda for ya tho. Iv replace all the barings inc both wheels rear linkage, swingarm pivot, steering. Tyres are like new barely any wear new innertubes wheels have been rebuilt front or rear had full new set of spokes n the other had a few replaced. Will be getting new chain sprockets grips new levers possibly new plastics set new filter the list goes on!
Ace loving the CR, my mate had an air cooled one great bike for thrashing around on, it was more fun than my RM250. It brought a smile to my face every time I got a go. Keep the pics coming.

Without serials, the year isn't certain which is a right ball ache when ordering parts.
Also, afraid to say this mate, but it sounds like you paid top £ for a stolen bike...
If it had no serials on engine nor frame I'd be running away.
If it was was built for the road like dts then yea i wouldnt of botherd but since its an mxer the numbers dont really matter yea it probly was stolen at some point in its life but i bet there there thousands of mxers out there that have been nicked sold on a few times and a few ended up in the hands of honest entusiasts who spend money and love on said bike to sell it on hopfully another biker whos goin to look after it and ride it on tracks and not the street. I bet u if i wer to hand it in to the police they wouldnt even bother trying to find its last legit owner n itll sit in some inpound for a few months n get sold at an auction for peanuts. So instead of the police making money out of it i may aswell. They get enough of my money anyway robbing c*nts lol
And it was pretty easy finding out what year/s it is, jus done a lil homework on the net. I havnt had any problems with parts yet and its almost a full rebuild...
The police can't do anything anyway. No serials so no proof that the person who had their CR 80 stolen a while back as the serials are gone, unless that UV light treatment stuff is on it with their postcodes.
