can anyone tell or show me the correct routing for the cable up to its connector .

To be honest Dave, most people take them off the bikes, more trouble than they're worth, but if you want to keep yours just cable tie it up the frame where the rear peg hangers sit and all the way up until you get to the front end of the airbox, and its connector plug.

Just unplug it under the seat, chop the two wires going to the actual sidestand switch about an inch from the plug, join them together as if making a bridge, tape up well so no bare wires, then just plug it back in the loom, that way if the next bloke decides he wants a sidestand switch he can join back together and he's good to go, take off the switch from the frame too.

hi nev thanks for the reply but sorry if im being thick but do you mean you mean cut the 2 wires that lead down to the switch after the connector block but up near the connector block and bridge them there if you get my meaning .. Dave    where number 9 is on diagram ?
