I know we have been over the chatbox idea in the past and seems it can not be done with the ffree forum software ?

on the other forums I admin on mainly gameing based we have chat-shoubox but also we use MIRC/ Internet Relay Chat (IRC)  and have recently also added a Mibbit widget for real time chattings is all opens in your browser so no installing or setting up by the users and real is great for instant chatting or questions . I/we all know what its like if your stuck and need help you have to post and hope for the right answer fast .

so something like this  would be very usefull to forum users .

not sure if anyone here uses IRC or knows how to sett up a channel for this forum ? but I know some real forum pro.s and irc pros who may help if need be who I could put in contact with seiki or cal

more info below it can be used from phones tablets pc almost anything  as a realtime chat box .

heres some info on mibbit widgets http://wiki.mibbit.c...ndex.php/Widget

other info on Mibbit http://wiki.mibbit.c...x.php/Main_Page

Mibbit is an online chat client. Mibbit supports a variety of Platforms including most popular web browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera and SeaMonkey, to name but a few), Wii, Nokia N800, iPhone, with more under development. It does this without any special browser plugins. A Javascript-enabled browser/device is all that is required. Mibbit currently supports IRC and Twitter, with other protocols under development. You can also use the Mibbit Widget to provide a real time chat window embedded on your own website.
