Roost?

Bit of super glue and that will be as good as new.

Hope you're okay!

Dam!!! riding on stones?

Some people get a hard on for donuts or wheelie's, but me... I love a big roost!!!

Monkey's throw poo, Men fling mud!!!

p.s For Calum roost is the mud you flick up normally coming out of a corner or pulling away or just flying through dirt!

Yes roost my friend, in short its all the sh*t that gets flicked up when you accelerate, they must have kicked up a rock or something

The mx chest body armour isn't actually really for protection when you fall, although it helps, its mainly for roosts

Yeh i was allright, couldn't see for abit where it was flapping around infront of my eyes, but then i just ripped it off and lobbed it over the fence off of the track and kept going lol, walked back and got it later

Super duper glue!!

Around my wood's i have lot's of random log's poking out the ground like stake's

Always think if i landed on one of those my chest plate would stop me being impaled(finger's cossed) lol

Also watched a mate wrap around a tree on his crf 450, he got away winded with a few bruised ribs because of his chestplate

Not saying it stop's anything getting broken but it does protect a lot in a crash, you could even be unlucky enough to be impaled by your handlebar's without one

Yes true i know they are good protection but one of there main purposes is for roosts, ive fell on my handle bar before and yes, without the chest armour i might have done something internal rather than just getting up winded

I thought i would just mention it because allot of people probably wouldn't know that

Same with the kidney belt really, the part that comes around your front and straps together is quite thick material, helps protect you from all those missiles!!

I've had a few stones flick up and wack me with and without a chest plate, does make all the difference! Had a rock the size of a fist smack me in the eye brow once, that ****ing hurt lol!

Full enduro armour is the way. Iv had a few crashes and jus jumped back up no probs.articulated back protection really does protect u from crashes and from over strectching ur back, backwards and farwards. One time i was over the handlebars down a steep hill after getting caught up in a small new tree lol ended up on my back head first down the hill.. looked down/up at my feet to see aonther dude coming down the hill. Luckily he didnt ride over me lol but i didnt feel a thing after that ; )

Yeh it ****ing hurts on your arms and that aswell! The worst was when a rock or something hits your knuckle...had enough of that, got armoured gloves, better than those hand guards, keep my dignity

Is the enduro armour the full suit thing you put on? Ive got one, gets abit hot and uncomfortable riding mx, i wear it green laning on the dt though

Thats the best feeling when you walk away from a crash unscaved and not hurting at-all! Invincible!! Ha

Yea man like a netted jacket with the armour plates attached. Haha yea tht is a good feeling wen u crash n feel invicible! I know wat u mean can get bloody hot especially wen u stop for a breather or fall off and trying to pick up bike in a hard place to do so . Jus gotta keep moving, keep the airflow coming. On enduro or long green lane sessions i used to use the camel pack thing to keep hydrated u must imo.

Man that is the worst when you're trying to pick your bike up...get so hot and knackered, loose all your strength and rhythm and thats when you realise how knackered you are, get it up kicking the bloody thing over and i dont know why but that is one of the most tiring things!! Finally starts just sit there getting your breath back lol, its times like that you just want to rip the armour jacket thing off, cos your sweating out and abit frustrated with all this **it hanging off ya lol

Don't you run handguards?! They're a must saved so many levers more than anything not to mention a smashed up finger or two!

Know what you're saying about it being a bastard to pick up in full gear then trying to kick it over again lol, especially hill climbs and getting in a really awkward position!

Na handguards look pants for mx, almost everyone has them on enduro's though
Yeh i always loose my temper if i drop my bike it a rut or something lol, start kicking mud about haha
My first ever ride was an enduro at tonbridge wells, was so wet, whenever i stalled it it took about half hour to get it going again, its because i was using the throttle whilst kicking it over like on my old 2stroke trials bikes, this was a 250f four stroke carb and i just flooded the bloody thing every time like a t***!! Was so tired just from kicking it over non stop i felt like i'd done about 5 laps!! I realised on the day thats why all the good guys there had 2strokes, my 250 was overheating aswell
Might have to do an enduro on the dt, pretty sure i would keep up with the average guys

I'm still in the process of setting my carb up atm so can be a right bastard to start sometimes! And those fcr carbs a lot of 4t mx bikes use have accelerator pumps so I imagine makes flooding even worse. I can't wait to do another enduro, there's one on in west sussex on the 12th all of my mates have either broken their bikes or had them stolen, only just got mine back from ze rozzers. Where do you do mx? Want to go back up lyne in chertsey at some point, good laugh over there

How do you find out when and where, enduro's are being held?

Ah so it probably was flooding!
Im based in south london mate, so my local tracks are canada heights, mill lane mx, golding barn tracks like that, furthest ive gone is cusses gorse or rushmere, going golding barn this weekend actually, awesome track like an american one its big and wide

Vic just type in your county, so eg 'kent enduro's' and it will probably come up with where the next one is being held and when, check your nearest one on the calender chances are it might be a month or two away

I started going to blue light off road enduro's just because they held a few about 5 mins away from me and went to a couple more after that...they hold a few around the south. I'm more enduro tbh but really wanna see how the klx does around a mx track!

Naa no-where near the kxf ;) has it got the same power? Yes mate get it on the track, wouldn't go nuts on the jump with your bouncy enduro suspension though!

Not far off! Same frame, same engine but less peaky cams and yeah just softer suspension lol but I don't want it to be back breaking anyway ;) I had my RMX250 up lyne was a bit of a handful I found though, that was about a year ago though now not been on an mx track in ages!

Rmz? Whats that bike like ive always liked the suzuki's, apparently nice to corner
The ruts will be the hardest coming back too i think, most corners at moderate speeds and straights at high speeds! Whats the ruts like in enduro, i always imagine them not being as quick as on the mx track, more paddling involved? Lol

It's like this...feel free to have a laugh lol

And yeah rmx250 2 stroke, good little bike actually, not quite as nice on the road as my old crm250 but loads of fun! 4th gear wheelies off the throttle no problem!!

Ah yes low speed but looks very tricky! Now i see why you need soft suspension
Your quite a good rider judging from that video, allot of balance and skill involved! You were going fast on tricky looking sections, i think you would be fine going back onto an mx track! Just remember not to have that relaxed enduro stance, when you pull onto the track switch to attack mode and attack everything!! Rutts, straights, jumps anything, elbows up chin over the bar if your tallish stick your arse out to keep your back straight...works really well when you get the hang of it, quite tiring but there only short sessions anyway

I made the mistake of going at the last enduro i did like i would on the mx track... Didn't relax kept an aggressive stance 30 mins later i was f****d!! Anyone who i had passed earlier left me for s*** then

Only thing you did bad in that vid is i thought you got abit ****y at one point, thought you could just go straight through that tree...

Tbh that was **** lol, I reckon I rode pretty well up the event near mine (maybe because I've had enough practice at it lol) but there's always the mad ****ers that go flying past you lol. I haven't watched that video again think it's the one when I came off pretty bad half way through (twisted my knee and made a strange noise so cut it out haha) So kind of knocked my confidence a bit on that. And the first bit with the tree was just me being a fanny and getting stuck in a rut lol.

But yeah need to have a crack at another mx, couldn't really concentrate on how I was riding last time because the rmx was being a right ****er kept dying on me etc.
