You have the bleed screw undone calliper side mate? Just undo the bleed screw or take it off and pump until it comes gushing out. Then bleed it. Also here you can put your finger over the top and actually see if its pressurising.

Put your finger over the bleed screw. Pump the brakes. Then let your finger off the bleed screw.

Also put your mouth over the reservoir and blow down it whilst pumping.

also if you think the break pipe is blocked the trusty old length of break wire from a mountain bike ect works a treat to push throu .

comes in very handy for all manner of jobs http://www.wiggle.co.uk/transfil-shimano-road-brake-cable-inner/?lang=en&curr=GBP&dest=1&utm_source=pla&utm_medium=base&utm_campaign=uk&kpid=5360062848

Yeah. So smother it and apply pressure to it and that should aid it.

You're not missing the ball bearing out the calliper are you? There is not much you can go wrong. Sometimes they can just be a bitch to bleed. Pumping the lever to pressurise it then release the nipple does the trick. I have needed to resort to putting my mouth on the reservoir. nasty as it is it was the only way I could get it to bleed.

problem can happen if you dont have a pipe on the nipple as you push break it pumps then as you let go it can suck back some air so your getting no where thats why I use the clear pipe with fluid in the pipe you can see as you pump the air bubbles and fluid move .

maybe also try with the nipple open puchin the piston in to force air and fluid out .

Yeah definitely. That's not bleeding what I'm saying. It's just trying to get fluid out. I don't want to belittle him. I'm sure he's aware of how to bleed a brake system.

I have one of those no return pipes.

You don't want those pistons all the way out mate. Push them back in. Seat the calliper on the disc. Personally I would bleed the line first. So take the line off the calliper. with one hand place two fingers over the hose end. Pump the brake and release with the pedal depressed. Then back on the hose. Pump and release with the pedal depressed. Once you get fluid squirting out you know that fluid is travelling free enough. Fit it back to the calliper and do the same technique.

would say last resort take the entire break system off and strip it right down as much as you can clean and check everything then put it all back together and try again .

bet when you do finaly do it or figure it out you use the words that start with F as it was something so simple that you maybe over looked .

some other ideas from google

You mite try filling your master cylinder then unhook the line at the caliper and let it gravity floe for a short time then hook it back up and re bleed

tap the brake line as your bleeding to get every air bubble out,

Most likely your MC has air in it. Turn it different angles to force the air out. Also adjust your lever to go far in.

this video is a great tip push loosen- tighten release

Not a good idea to put mouth near brake fluid as it's highly poisonous.

Uuuuhhhhhh.....(drool rolls down my cheek) doh! That's why I lost all those brain cells!

Yeah brake fluid isn't healthy lol. I wouldn't reccomend it if he didn't know how to bleed brakes. But as said he's getting a little fed up. I know EXACTLY what that feels like. Took me weeks to bleed my front brake and that method worked for me. I have got these easy bleed kit that does the same thing. You pressurise the master cylinder to aid with the bleed. But it didn't have the right cap for the reservoir.

Here ya go Dave, same set up as this, crack open the nipple, when the tubing is over it, draw just a tiny amount of fluid out, the syringe then acts as a one way non return valve for the air that's in the system, you can also reverse fill the system using the syringe.
