Last night at the Just Jap meet in Brighton, parked so I was covering up the german whip! haha

Nope, the servo works and the cables work fine, but the actual valve is seized. Don't know whether it's open or closed or halfway or what lol. All I know is when it's at about 3-4k revs it holds back slightly

Interesting bike. Not sure about that rear end. Prefer the standard myself. You'll have to let me know when its up and running mate and we'll go for a ride. If you're ever going out, drop me a txt if you looking for riders. A few of us over here in worthing will be up for it.

Oh and would your mate be able to re cover enduro seats well? My Cagiva w8 needs recovering at some point as will my WR200.

Andy.

It's all up and running now mate, just had some niggling issues that needed seeing too such as intermittent rear lights. They all seem to work perfectly now so I did something right! yeah, me and him can cover any seat you desire in any material you desire :)

I am always around Brighton and Worthing mate, PM me your number and next time you're down I'll give you a buzz :)

So, I finally got all the bits I needed to Streetfighter the FZR thanks to my little breaker buddy. He made me some CNC machined clamps, got some renthals from him and 1 x Suzuki GSXR radial master brake cylinder. Just waiting on my VTR Firestorm clutch radial master cylinder to come and I'll have a proper good looking handlebar setup.

I found on the FZR archives a tutorial for fitting R6 switches to the bike and the R6 dash, so I may go down that route but for now..

So this is how it started, this was the day I got it.

Then I started fixing little things like new battery, sorted out some of the botched wiring in the tail etc. Once all that was sorted I started pulling the bike apart and sorting other bits. I got the fairings and headlight cowl off and started to rub the down for paint. Then I saw a picture of an FZR streetfighter and fell in love. So I threw a CCM light pod on that I had laying around whilst I source parts for Streetfightering it.

And this is how it sits now. Needs another GOLD short lever on the clutch side but I need to wait for the radial master cylinder.

And then a rolling shot on the way to Just Jap meet in Brighton.

And the inevitable video of how the exhaust sounds..
