Suspected powervalve rattle

Hi guys! After not using the Dt since September I decided to get back on it and as it was rattling a bit I decided to rebuild top end (bottom end was done recently) so after putting in new piston etc today I went to start her up and it's still rattling!

I checked for any big end bearing play whilst i had piston off and it was all right etc so was sure it was small end bearing but evidently not.

my cyclinder has been bored out 57.00mm (1.00mm o/s) this was done on the last rebuild , but it didnt rattle immediately after the previous rebuild when it had a re bore, so Id think it was down to p/v hitting piston but surely in that case it would have been hitting since the first rebuild ??

hard one to comment on with out being next to the bike .

years ago I thought my kmx was dieing du to lots of rattling and vibration many mates and some mechanics said the same .. I then one day thought I would just check things out and after tightening the engine mounting bolts it was all good .

we all know its hard to pin down where the rattle is coming from wilst the engine is running .. could be a lose mount somewhere and still sound likes its coming from the head

I had this, check the plastic part that connect's to the end of the pv and pulley cable's isn't worn on the inside allowing the powervavle to move back and foward a bit
