Time to get fit for riding me thinks, started off by going to dunstable mx today, apparently the hardest practice track in the uk, all day track got out at 10:15, rode as hard as i could for as long as i could, 1&1/4 hours!! Got back in at 11:40 couldn't eat or drink until about 12 lol, felt abit sick probably because im not use to it yet

Anyway bought this the other day, its called the 'arm pump terminator', highly recommend this if you want to get your forearm arm strength up to help eliminate armpump, i've been suffering bad with arm pump since my new set-up, but im definately getting there thanks to regular riding and this little beauty!!

its got 3 different exercises, one works the majority of your forearm, one your wrists and the outside of your forearm, and the other uses the levers and also does your forearm but also your fingers you use on them

i got it because i was told that just getting hand grips doesn't actually help that much with riding, you have to work your forearms with a twisting motion, apparently relates more to how it would be on the bike, i dont care it destroys your forearms and helps so much with your strength to stay on the bloody bike lol

£40+p&p on ebay

I've been looking for one of them for ages!! I need one of them for when I start again! I never suffered bad with arm pump unless I was riding a sand track! Pure battling with the bike!

Haha yeh the sand just pushes you around, gotta fight the bike to aim it to where you want to go i know what you mean, lean back get all your weight on the rear! Easy to say but its so tiring doing that all the time

Hey liam do you know anything about how tight you should have the head stock nut thing and for what? My steering is as loose as can possibly be ive never touched it, but there was a straight yesterday went through third top end 4th then my front started shaking left and right like a mini tank slapper, had to lean right back to prevent it but i read somewhere that you wont get that if your steering was tighter?

Jesus man riding round with a loose headstock! If you can tighten I then tighten it! Luckily you have all the other bolts holding your forks in but the headstock is holding your yolks on, if it's tightened up and is still loose your headstock bearings will need replacing, they take a battering on an mx track especially if you get any grit or sand in there can really ruin them

I've never had any experience with steering damperners, they're more used on enduro bikes
