baisicaly i need someone with a cnc machine and a press. i need to make a bearing extension as on 1 of the dt im planning to put yzf forks, and for the other dt with rieju forks I need a sleve making up as at the moment it takes 28x52x16 taper bearings but i need it to take 30x55x17 as i cnt find any 28x55 ones
i need 1 sleeve pushed into the rieju stem and a 30id DT bearing pressed on that. than i need headstock top extension cup . if the sleeve is fairly easy to make i would take 2x and get some older yz forks and get a extension cup aswell
so the sleve would be 28mm ID 30 OD and i think 17 in length
the bearing cup noidea but something like calum has made for his conversion
When I fitted fzr forks to my chopper I die grinded the frame tube so the bigger bearing cup would fit the frame
By the sound of it you only need take off 0.5 mm then it will fit
