So my dt's temp gauge not working, and all of a sudden it made grindin kinda noise a cut out then the kickstart got stuck down, left it 2 mins it started then I rode it about a mile turned off , done same again, started up again now. I'm Home but don't wanna ride it again, what could be up? Over heating ? where's the sensor for it? DT 125R 2002.

The kickstart got stuck down?

I'd strip the clutch case off and have a look.

If there is nothing obvious then have a look up the exhaust port. Have you had an oil pump failure?

Check the basics. Colour of the plug. Coolant. Gearbox oil for metal filings.
