Not sure what year the bike was but the cbr500r is fairly recent.
the bike belongs to the ron haslam race school.
I didnt mind the bikes power, but what i didnt like was the crap tyres, skinny wheels/tyres and not being able to rev it into the red zone because it just cuts out lol

The damp track was fun though... my mate counted the rear end sliding out more then 17 times in the half hour session we had on track.

Rev limiter's are there for a reason, losing the rear 17 time's in 1 day you must be a good rider lmao

Yeh you want to be on the limiter and either back off, shift or keep it there; not just have the bike cut out ffs worst idea i've ever heard if the bike is being used to race on

Wouldnt consider myself a good rider, i knew the rear slipped a bit when I down shifted too early but it must have been sliding due to a partially damp track but I didnt really feel it.
I did keep having to shift through the box alot, but I kept trying to ride it like my hornet.

You look quite good mate, now you see the picture i bet you think it dont look that low lol, but at the time it feels really low dont it!! You've got to be quite good to get the bike over even that much

Well I went back again to play on the 600rr's and i finally got my knee down, bit annoyed they didnt get any pics of me knee down. The 600rr was much nicer to ride with proper sized tyres i could chuck it over just like my old hornet. I still make the bike look small, but its because gp riders are the same size as jockeys!!!
