Where Do You Wash Your Bike?

Where do you all wash your bikes? I'm thinking about taking it to Sainsbury's and using their jet washes and just washing it their then spraying the chain before leaving. smile

I'd wash it in the garden, but my hose has broken so that isn't an option. cry

It's the connection to the tap that has broken.

Going to use my mums plant water pot.

Get an electric jet wash if you can, nice and cheap and pucker for cleaning, that is once your hose is fixed

I had a Karcher damn thing packed in. Managed to get my hose working, ripped the connector off and it worked. All washed, half arsed attempt mind, but still did the job. Didn't bother washing the wheels, but lubed the chain anyway.

Nope, it isn't a bicycle, lol. Proper chain lubricant from local Yamaha shop.

I only say because the purpose of them is to remove moisture, so spray it on there goes your grease and lubricant, chains die quicker this way

You dont need the bollox straight from the dealer, just make sure it says chain lube and your good to go

 I <3 wd40 can never have enough...or duct-tape

I've used it a few time's, when iv'e been out of lube and had to clean it after a day out in the forest/greenlane's.

I do use it on everything else though, apart from the disc's. After a pressure wash I'll usually spray the whole thing, cable's/plastics/frame/rims then wipe it down and it shine's really nice.

yeah wd40 is great to make dull plastics look nice ... done it in the past with selling cars and bike on faded trim and bumpers makes them look new
