guys im after some advice about my kxf... Its takes ages for it to start, and to actually get it to start you have to rev it a little bit
carb adjustment? Rebuild? valves? I dont know, but once it starts the once i can kick it over all day its just that enitial start, runs fine pulls well im stuck on this one
When did you last have the valves checked? I had this issue with my crf was a pig to start but once going it was okay, turns out the valves needed shimming or worse case you need new valves

FASTER FASTER UNTIL THE THRILL OF SPEED OVERCOMES THE FEAR OF DEATH
Remembering that the KX is a full blown track bike, 4 months may be normal, it depends how much you ride it, for how long and for how hard. I don't know the answer sorry. Sometimes they're just hard to start cold. As said could be the plug.
A 250 2 stroke should be more tame. The bigger two strokes have more torque and as such the power is not as savage. Unless it's a 250 twin.
Yeh i just would rather a 250 4, love their pull and the sound is awesome, but why do i have to open the throttle for it to start would that be due to the soark plug also? Or carb maybe?
They sound mean, like they mean business and they're angry, 2 strokes sound awesome aswell but they make you smile and you think 'ah, well atleast he's trying'
