F.uck me why does everyone butcher the sh1t out of these bikes, why would you replace original stuff with shiite?

why cut the hell out of a loom or remove a yeis?

I honestly think finding a DT which hasnt had somthing dodgy doing to it is a rarity... just dont understand. (rant over)

My first DT was completely standard and not messed with, and my third lol.

The bike I got off Toy on the other hand, not so much lol wink

I think it's just a case of 17 yr old's and bad mechanics

Hah, if only 2stroke. Sadly Scrin only sells the odd one every couple of months. They are worth buying if you have cash laying around and want one. He's also a qualified mechanic (I think someone said he was a little while ago.)

And this is the case with near enough every 50-125CC bike. All the teens are interested in max speed, so remove stuff and mess around to make it "faster innit bruv" yawn

Also isn't your DT a stolen recovery / field bike? If so that's why the loom was hacked up. cry

I only sell one every once in a while because I only restore the old late 80,s early 90,s DT125R,s and it takes forever to get all the correct original plastics and decals etc to make them look original. I only do them in-between working on old air-cooled DT,s also. I wish I had 52 of em, ive got 4, 2 1990 H reg one 1997 R reg and one 2001 X reg. One H reg will be finished soon in White/Red, the other one shortly after in Red/Silver and who knows with the other 2 lol...............

Should be ready by then, that's if he don't want Victors Black one. Mind you mine wont be cheap but it will be virtually brand new, and as it old it will be fast for a DTR after the new topend is ran in.

I'll wait and buy Scrin's. Worth it to go out in the van and fetch as well. His produced enough fine examples out and some of them have ended up on eBay in mint condition still praising him on his work (A black one around '03 model import IIRC) a couple of years down the line.

Low mileage goodness. Overhauled as well.

*I may have a thing for the white and red model DTR's. wink
