I was coming up to a round about with 2 cars in front of me. I was watching the car directly in front of me and I noticed he kept on looking in his rear view mirror. Anyways the car in front of him hit the brakes and the other guy who was watching me smashed into him. I stopped to make sure they was alright.
drivers fault for not paying attention to the road in front! being able to stop within a reasonable distance is a huge cause of RTC's- see it all the time -and is a major part of our blue light training -regardless of what is happening behind you :p(that will be that persons concern lol)
so what do you do? - do you speed up -potentially causing other issues, whilst concentrating on the person behind u? or do you slow down- potentially putting that person even closer to u? If your that concerned then you should be pulling over and letting them pass -regardless of whatever vehicle you in/on :p
Its worse i agree on a bike as potential for further injury to the rider/pillion
I find a rear shoulder check backs some drivers off. If that fails I pull over and let them pass or filter in front of them by a couple of cars.
I hardly ever get idiots tailgating me though. Was terrible for it on my 50CC though, they're lethal in my opinion. If I have kids in the future and they wanted a scooter at 16, I'd make them wait until 17 as they're too risky.
I dont Think many people are used to 2T running around Manchester legally so soon as they see one they just get fixsated( however you spell it) and just wait for me to ride over the central reservation or somthing chavy.
