So I recently swapped my 2t oil bottle that goes under the rear fender for the older style ones that go where the right hand radiator should be. In order to make space for the older one, I had to relocate the reg rec unit, some wires and this little box.
One pipe goes to the airbox here.
The other pipe has nothing on the end of it, but I think it could be the pipe that comes from the stock exhaust.
Can someone tell me what this little thing does? But most importantly, can I take it off my bike if I block up the hole on the airbox?
its effectively a EGR Valve for the euro emissions reason. basicly it chucks some exhaust gased into the airbox to go through the combustion process again
RIP IT OFF, block up hole on airbox. if you've got a aftermarket exhaust theres no point in having it there anyway
