I remember riding that track once when i ha my YZ. Both me and my mate left with rear tyre punctures caused by nails in our tyres. I found the track was ****, rocks everywhere. Looks like its never been graded and felt like it was run by burger van pikeys. Couldnt wait to get back on Mill Lane or Golding Barns.

Fair play though. Bike sounds nice and looks fast from the video.

Yep tracks pretty s***, its the only one that seems to open in the wet though, if there was somewhere else to go i'd go there

Golding barn is real nice but i think they should put some loose stuff down in the corners, mill lane is the bollox thats the best one in the area, cant wait to go round there on my rm nice and tacky

I'm glad to see that you went with the 250 smoker mate. You know I'm two stroke made and whole heartidly reckon you made the right choice there.

Would love to see some pictures of the ol gal. Fresh and clean

Yeh i thought you would cal, the 4 strokes are easier to ride but if you can keep a 2 in the band man you will be hauling

Haha, i dont want to talk about its current appearence... This was the result when i tried to fit the new graphics i bought for it on

Im out powered lol, definately a handful and the bike is dominating me at the moment im just clinging on, its the corners im struggling with i find out of the band there's no power and to slow, but in the band to much power to handle!! Love it on the straights though

Once you master a 2 stroke on a corner you'll be killing it! You'll be balls to the wall! Just drop it in 2nd clutch it and launch!

LOL at the inner tube. I'd steer clear of the track if i were you. Mill lane is great. We could never decided which we preffered. Mill lane or Golding Barns. You're right, they could do with putting some more soft mud down on the corners. They did last year a few times but it never lasts that long. Mill lane put woodchip down in the winter and have good drainage to soak the water away.

You checked your powervalves arent stuck open? I had that before and made the band really noticable obviously. Even if only 1 side is stuck as they have a dual sliding gate design, it makes a huge difference. I hope you wear a neck brace?

I hope you wear a neckbrace hahaha how come you only ask now im on a 250 2? ;) lol
Yes i do, leatt gpx and i have one spare, but my dad refuses to wear it... Stupid!!
Also just bought some leatt armour, the 5.5 pro, it is AWESOME, plus its got armour plates that wrap around your ribs aswell, helps any unwanted rocks smashing your ribs to s***!!
Golding barn is open sunday next week btw andy

I never really though about it before until i saw the video. I found that the helmet kept knocking the tops of the neck brace and so any videos were really bad. Mine was the alpinestars neck brace. If you know anyone looking for one then mines up for sale as I cant afford to do motocross for a few years now, if at all :(

Yeh mate i cant lift my head as much as i'd like, but the leatt has so much adjustability with the different length pins and the back bit you can get the perfect fit

At the end of the day it is there to help stop your neck breaking and prevent paralysis, so i couldn't give a s*** about a bit of restriction in movement

Haha cheers bro, yeh i found the one thing with the rm is you can smash rutts/corners in the tacky conditions, suzuki's are famed for there cornering ability!

Collecting it back friday next week, its at a tuning shop getting the suspension set-up for my weight atm, so excited to get it back cant stand riding the kxf now in the mean time lol

I was getting so low in one of these rutts i kept catching my foot! Never had to really think about where to put my foot previously because i never attacked the rutts like that (not at this track lol), but i think because of the power of the 250 2 it just ripps you back out of the corner and therefore pulls you up, dip that clutch full revvs and i swear when you let go its packing more power coming out of the corner than a 450

I've now learnt to tuck my leg right up under the handle bar, get my foot running parrallel with the front fender and point my toes so that if i do touch the ground it slides across the top

Im sure liam can relate to this, i just never use to get low in rutts, dont get me wrong i f*** up 1/3 of the time when i do it but when you pull it off it is so much fun
