Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on what on earth these are! Some guy on the Dt page on Facebook is going on about one apparently only 30 made and only 4 brought into the uk from Italy! Someone please tell me what the hell they are!

The tenere is definitely a marmite bike imo. I don't like them and they shouldn't be called a DTR. More TDR. At my guess the chesterfield scout edition would more than likely just be a colour scheme

HA! Not a chance! The Belgarda engine I've got doesn't put out even half that. Maybe 15 bhp on a good run and that's with all the tuning I've done. Highly doubt that bike is more powerful than a YZ 125.

Depending what dyno you run it on and maybe a 2014 one never fired up and measures at the crank. Between 30-34 would be a good benchmark. 37 out a 125. That would be SAVAGE! I think at their very peak, gp bikes were putting out that. Naturally though crossers want more torques than 15K rpm power like a gp bike

Iv'e seen 3 so got to be more than 4 lol, pretty rare though.

Although i'd say that KTM 125 sting with the dt 125 engine is rarer and looks better :P

Also Aprilia AF1 sp's are my favorite rare 125 so to speak

p.s WTF Calum? I'd expect 15bhp from a standard DT engine with a DEP, I'm sure the R125 puts out 15bhp and that's a bloody thumper! Time for a new bike maybe?

p.s.s just noticed this is up the road from me, I can deliver it for you if anybody is interested

Yeah but the difference is Victor, people quote bhp out their backsides. I err on the lower side than brag about bhp which doesn't exist. The R125 would be closer to 10 bhp.

And then there is the fact that a stock rs125 is 26 bhp, and there is no way the DT comes close to  that figure so you're saying 20 bhp for a stock dt and that makes it 6 bhp less than the rs. I don't buy it.

But we WILL find out what mine makes on the Dyno. Next year I'll get it dyno'd

I said 15, you drunk Cal? My mate had a r125 from new, I had a few goes on it and it would top out at 80-85 along side my cbr. Thats pretty fast for 10bhp...I don't buy it.

If the DT doesn't put out 15 bhp ill be amazed.

80-85 is crazy. But isn't necessarily related with bhp. Gear it all you want to get that power out of it. Probably 15 at the crank.

Ok, i kinda thought all dt sumo's could get up to atleast 80, i had standard sm sprocket ratio on my dt and i was annoyed that i couldn't get 90mph, just thought that my dt was abit slower than the others top end ha

Its just a MK3 DT125LC with a Dakar replica body kit, They did a DT50MX exactly the same. Nothing special just more weight to make it slower than the standard bike.
